I just finished season one of Dexter. Man, I LOVE THIS SHOW!!! Great cast, great writing. Michael C. Hall is simply brilliant as Dexter. He was born to play this role. And Julie Benz is amazing as always.

I got issue 3 of Supernatural Magazine last week (thanks movie_fisch!) And there was something very cool inside: "Vote in the Supernatural awards".
You can nominate your favorite SPN moments in 20 different categories. I've spent the last hour trying to fill out the list. Some of the categories were very easy, I immediately knew which moment/person/episode to pick. But others were sooooo hard, I still don't have a definitive answer for a few categories. Closing date for the entries is June 30th, so I still have a few days to think about it.

Here's what I have so far:

Wow, it's been a while since my last post, huh? Guess my life just isn't very eventful at the moment. But I'm hoping that will change in the near future. There's some stuff I've been wanting to do for a long time, and I think I'm finally gonna start doing some of it!

This is on my list:

- learn to draw Manga
- write a Jensen/OFC fic
- learn to play keyboard
- take country line dance lessons
- learn to use Photoshop

New Photoshop and country line dance courses start here in September, so I'll probably sign up for that. The keyboard thing.... don't think that's gonna happen yet, we'll see.
Okay, what else is on there? Fanfiction! Well, I have some ideas for a fic, but I'm having trouble finding the right words. I think I need a muse... lol

I did a search for Manga tutorials on-line, and I came across this. (It's in Dutch) It explains all the basics for drawing Manga, and it has a lot of helpful pictures. During my lunch break today, I picked up a pencil and a piece of paper, and this is the result:

I checked out some new tv shows this weekend. I need something to help me through summer hiatus! So I watched the first two episodes of Torchwood, Dexter and Gossip Girl.

- Torchwood was kinda cool, but I don't think it's really my thing. The characters just don't appeal to me very much at the moment. I might give it another try later.

- I really enjoyed the frist two episodes of Dexter. The main character is just so deliciously disturbed, I love it! He's a psycho, but still quite likeable somehow. And funny. And kinda hot! Michael C. Hall reminds me very much of William Gregory Lee. They look alike, and they both have that intensity in their eyes. I could actually see WGL playing this role too. I'm definitely gonna keep watching this show.

- Gossip Girl: loved it! Another keeper. First impressions of the characters:

Blair: beautiful, but a total bitch.
Serena: a nice girl trying very hard to make up for her mistakes. I kinda want to give her a hug.
Dan: so damn adorable and funny and just plain yummy.
Jenny: too precious for this world. I have a feeling she's gonna get her heart stomped on a few times.
Nate: gorgeous, gorgeous.
Chuck: Gross. Total sleezeball and just... yuck. I pretty much want to knee him in the groin. He should hook up with Blair, they'd be perfect for each other. They could be like Sebastian and Catherine from Cruel Intentions.

And in other news: I changed my layout! I wanted something a bit lighter for summer. And I made a nice little Jensen header to go with it. It's simple and basic, but Jensen looks so pretty in the pics!

OH, PLEASE! Give me a break! Like my video is the only one that has clips of tv-shows or movies. It's not like I'm making money off it. It's just for fun, people.
My other videos are still available at the moment. But I don't know how long that's gonna last. So if you want to watch my Jensen-SPN-Dark Angel videos, do it now while you still can! You can find them here.

I re-watched the SPN season finale last night. It was a little less painful to watch this time, but I still can't find the words for my review. I DO know I'm not gonna write a reaction review. It just doesn't seem... appropriate for this episode. Maybe when I watch it a third time, the words will come to me.
